What has changed except spending 100s of millions dollars, more SVPs and a plan to go to SAP which is already two years behind schedule. Isn’t ROI a finance function?

The SAP SMEs are spending a lot of time fixing the data as the processes are not streamlined
No fear. It’s In progress. Former FSG, now IT, has two directors and like 100 functional SMEs and PMs on it. They hired two consulting companies to do the deck.
VZ 2.O it’s working in IT
This is a great topic. Who's making the powerpoint deck for it?
So true. I see it daily. Our VP brags that money is no object , we can hire , we can over spend and miss dates. I can’t believe what 2.0 means to us now. We are more bloated and produce less and the systems are starting to fail. They think the answer is give all the work to sap.
At least Tulsa and Lake Mary are still Finance Centers of Excellence.
Anyone in the know knows the finance systems went backwards with all the changes

My Exec Dir keeps bragging that they implemented SAP much faster than anyone thought they could
And you notice how with the move to SAP and IT alignment with finance no one complains about the continued delays and issues with the systems. Welcome to Verizon 2.0
