T is back at it again. Now they change the upgrade options so if you want to upgrade early you need to spend an extra $5 a month. You need to wait until 50% of the phone is paid before you can trade it in. What is actually going on is, the $5 is billed separately from the phone. You will be spending what you used to pay, but it will show as more profitable to the shareholders. Always cooking the books.

"customers" are not cruising this board, you realize that, right?
Because it will scare customers away causing more job losses.
Why is this even here?
How is that a scam? Buy your own dang phone yourself if you don't want to finance it. You don't even want to pay for half the phone before you want a new one.. seems like you not wanting to pay is the problem.
AT&T is the master Scam artist,, for decades this company and their borderline illegal behaviors in taking advantage of consumers, and business altogether, , watch out!!!...who is in your wallet?
