Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Corporate Risk

All corporate risk including IT Security and credit risk functions are under the chief risk officer some lady from JP Morgan Chase after Mike Loughlin got pushed out. While i was there a couple if years ago as a contractor I had to redo all their security plans for their IT systems. They weren't paying sh-- and with the stress and lack of future I quit. I'm sure it went down hill again because they were hiring cheap contractors and fulltime people who dismt know what they were doing.

Those dirty scoundrels were doing risk assessments that were corrupted and shoveling them along for nearly a decade as good. Call the police on them.

Risk pays much better at Wells than at other banks if you’re full time

Yep. The risk is within, from the top down.

So systemic, you'd have to start from the ground up (break bank apart and start over, if at all) for any hope of changing it.

Many employees have been with Wells so long, watching bad behavior modeled by management for so long, they have developed toxic callouses that only perpetuate the unholy mess.

Wells Fargo needs to go.

They say they do risk management but they are the risk.

Books are still cooked.

We're all too scared to whistleblow... you can see how that turns out for others.

Such a retaliatory environment, despite it being illegal.

Yeah all their risk assessments for years of their IT systems were corrupted and had to be redone. The company should have been shut down a long time in years ago.

It’s not dead. At least not according to the numbers they’re putting out.

Of course the numbers they were putting out before the fake account scandal were, well, fake so whether or not they’re still cooking the books is anybody’s guess

Based on their track record....,,

Who wants to guess first?

It's over, the company has valued profit over people ( both employees and customers ) and is now dead.
