Just read in the Business Journal that Wells Fargo just filed 35 branch closings with the OCC today. Funny no mention on our intraweb or anywhere else. The only confirmed branch I could find on the list is the Triad branch in NC. Any other news?

Do you know which one in the triad?
It s---s. But not surprising that there's a handful of redundant locations. 35th Ave and Bell in N Phoenix has two retail banks within 100 yards of each other.
Hey @ZPOm09T-hya, what do you mean "lack of communication"?
I get emails all the time with big photos of this exec or that exec, and they have big photos of themselves on the company intranet every day!
Lordy but do they love their own faces!
You'd think a bunch of crooks and incompetent managers would be shy, but they're absolutely in love with themselves!
And don't get me started on the emails and posts! Such prose! Paragraph after paragraph of words so carefully written to sound sporty while saying absolutely nothing!
I think there's too much communication. Not anything useful, but oh my, so much communication!
Really, I've been around, and I've never seen such puffery from management about themselves as you do at Wells. Most upper management I've worked with at other companies have been pretty hardcore about doing something substantial and not just emailing and posting for the sake of looking busy or to hear the sound of their own voices.
In fact, if some of these emails and intranet posts were done at the companies I've worked at, that person would be out the door that same day, including the C-level folks.
"Hey everybody, look at me! I'm a fancyman and I do important work with corporate lingo!"
Management at Wells is a waste of space. It'd be funny if people weren't being punished for the crimes from the top level folks, board, and investors who "looked the other way".
This company lack of communication with the team members it claims to care about is awful.
The level of team member disrespect at Wells Fargo is at an all-time high.
This isn't confidential info if it's in the media, so the only reason they don't tell us is to keep us productive and making $$$ for the executives. I hate Wells Fargo.
They have earned this level of hatred from team members... they are not making a genuine effort to take care of their most important asset -- TEAM MEMBERS.
