Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

New bargainging update for district 4

Heading to Chicago for contract talks.

The most useless union.

I am ditching these people.

Bare minmum is back pay and healthcare frozen.

Anything other than that is a loss and you serve no purpose to me.

Why not ask the people wjo were let go what their union dues did?

If the company dictates to you what I receive, they can do the sae without you.

Higher up union people sold members out and all u have to do is think about it. Midwest was in middle of lightgig jobs if employee had of walked it would of hurt co. Bad. This same thing happened with pronto phase. Lies galore have been told to members to now going back for talks.hell yes lightgig work is done. Revote remove all elected from national down.

The rumor I heard qas the union and At&t had a deal with the layoffs.

They wanted the prem techs gone and push a contract for who is left.

Not a chance I vote yes on a contract let alone one that k--led off 23,000 jobs.

Blood money for now slave labor later.

Why on earth would anyone believe the contract will be better.

The union thinks more work = job security.

I think more work should be more pay.

I know what you pay me for my work. If that is too much work on my buyout instead of my contract.

You can search alot of things here, you can also narrow down the timeframes of results. Very informative, also don't forget to look at project midas. Happy searching!

Ok I will give a little info here, again go to share point. Search "final offer" there is document ls that any employee can see showing a few company proposals and also a list of agreed upon aspects of district 4's negotiations. I believe you will get a revised final offer soon.

@1qzf - That’s b.s ; union employees from district 3 did not go and work in district 4 while they were out of contract. That’s a false story D4 repeatedly tells itself to sleep better.

The unions can't be strong when every vote doesn't count. You can go to all the meetings you want, pump $20.19 in your gas tank, wear a t-shirt with a catchy phrase, and drop one in the fill tank but until there is a unified contract date for all T employees we have no leverage. Think T is scared of a walkout or a lockout? Not a chance. We know it, T knows it, the unions know it. 2 out of 3 seem to be ok with it.

One thing I’ve noticed about people who whine about the union: They’re also never active and never show up at the meetings. The unions only as strong as the membership and their involvement.

What is the Internationals role in keeping these dumb--s districts from folding and k--ling each other just before they actually get some leverage with 2 contracts coming up??? I mean seriously

I’ll bet the company is going to make them a new offer and district 4 will accept like the dummies they are , right before district 3 contract runs out. just like back in 2015. Att doesn’t want 3 and 4 to join forces so they will make a new offer to 4. Divide and conquer. 4 fell for it last time. I’m sure they will this time as well.

Let's be honest!

They were summoned to Chicago by the company! They hold no cards!
