So I’m hearing upwards up to 40% could get surplussed this week or next. What is the reasoning for all these layoffs if true?

Showing up early to load truck and working over to not show OT is not only id--tic it is against company policy. You have a lot to learn newbie.

Specials or now called Business Srvc getting 1-2 line Bvoip 3rd QT for Businesses. One pr & bonded internet go to core I & M. Leaves U-verse TV & Direct Tv install/repair only to Prem techs or Wire techs.
That's a fine how do you do! I gave them the best years of my life. Heck, I've shown up before my shift starts and loaded my truck. I've stayed late and not shown OT to improve my score... and THIS is the thanks I get??

From what I understand, PT/WT done have set dates for surplus announcements like Core.
In SE hearing that specials will get any and all business customers. Cable repair will be picking up the single pair uverse orders in addition to the bonded pairs they are already doing(or vice versa, whichever one they aren't doing now they will be picking up).
Wire tech work going back to core employees where it should have been the whole time.
