When your let go from ATT get rid of any service you have with ATT. HR may tell you your discounts will remain for a certain period but ATT will send you a bill with discounts but than will send you an email right before your bill stating discounts will be removed and you must pay much more... Save yourself the hassle and get rid of all of your services.... wish I would have after I was let go... 26.5 years of service

AT&T services s--- even as an employee. If the company surplusses you, why on earth would you continue to pay for their sh--ty products?
Current employee here and i got none of their products. I have to believe in a company for me to pay it. I dont believe in this company nor will i ever.
Drop DTV then put it in another family member’s name for solid one year promotion deal.....if you would still like to have DTV.
After I leave this company, I will NEVER do business with The AT&T Corporation again. And I will make it my mission to recommend against this company to everyone I know. Which shouldn't be very hard considering how Randall has completely destroyed this businesse's reputation.
My DTV bill jumped to 150.00 Dropped that immediately, I think the ten dollars was priced what it is worth.
Ditto on DTV. I got slammed into Sunday Ticket and my bill went to $125/month. I went back to Comcast.
Alternatives
Internet - Comcast, local fiber, whatever
Mobile- Ting, Tracphone, T-mobile depending on what you need. Use wifi more, mobile data less.
Landline - Free google voice + get an Obihai modem & attach the internet side to your router and user side to your in home wiring. There's posted methods on how to port your landline number to it.
TV - you can keep Uverse without a landline. There's a plethora of alternatives, YoutubeTV looks like the most feature-rich. Free trials abound. Broadcast HD picture looks better than anything else I've seen for live sports.
I got the ax 2 years ago, I still have the wireless discount, but DirecTV went from $10 to $125 so I dropped it.

Typical smoke and mirror AT&T tactic . When Randall is done there will be nothing left . They may own the big fiber pipes but that about it . Central offices are already ghost towns looking run down and unkept . It’s sad the once bold and proud AT&T run into the ground by a talking head accountant who apparently pays people off to get JD Powers awards in customer service . Awards for best network and on and on and on . Smoke and mirrors .
