Can they offer us any job in the national transfer system? Retail jobs?

One surplus I was involved in, 3 of us rode together to take the test. 1 guy answered almost all wrong because he knew he could bump when his turn in the placement order came, and did not want to be offered a different job. The other guy, a smart engineer, felt he did very well. It was a basic simple test at that time. I also felt that I did well. Waited for results there after the test and I passed, the other 2 guys were both told the missed it by 1 to 3 answers. Will not show you wrong or right answers. The one guy who did stay and bumped said he knew he should have gotten maybe 10% correct because he tried to fail. Not all, but many with a history of FMLA usage and attendance problems all seemed to not pass by “1 to 3 questions” in our group of over 30 at that time.
Depending on the contract, not necessarily. One must be "basically qualified". Me, I was too stupid to become test qualified for a sales rep.😉 Similarly, how could I become a prem tech if I can only lift 5 lbs?😜
If this stuff is anticipated ahead of time, and 2020 was clearly telegraphed, one could strategically take the right tests that would result in placement into good jobs, and some cases promotions.
I think the company is now bargaining that the job-offer guarantee is conditioned on passing a test of the company's choosing. They know my game.
Yes any job offered in your hometown region 50 Mile radius is considered an job offer refuse & you are separated from company I was forced into a call center job for over 2 years before being able to post back out into the field.
