LATimes May 15th 2019: SpaceX has packed 60 satellites onto one rocket to advance its big internet plan.
Three statements of wisdom that I’ve heard from distinguished at&t employees.
1) Do a great job and stay on the payroll as long as you can
2) As soon as at&t rolls out new technology it is already out of date
3) Follow the money
I think Low Earth Orbit satellites are considered 6G technology. How are we going to compete against ubiquitous 6G when all we have is 5GE?
And way to go in the subliminal messaging with 5"GE" the latest huge bankruptcy that no one thought could happen! Maybe our dividend will reach 5x of GE's too... $0.

Sending satellites to space is going to be tricky when space doesn't even exist in the first place. All "satellite" communications are really just radio signals being bounced off of the Ionosphere by terrestrial broadcasting hubs.

Elon is not talking Hughes Net at 22, 000 miles.
5G is a laboratory theory. Until 4G E is replaced with true 5G, I remain skeptical about the latency issue. Too many dependencies surrounding latency. LEO satellites in the laboratory environment are proving to demonstrate a lot of potential as well.
