If you are talking about some of the fiber repair work, they have been working on that for awhile. C&E was never staffed and never had the systems to handle the dispatches that are being created with all of the fiber that is being deployed. A customer calling in a cut drop doesn’t care if it is made of copper or fiber.
yes, this is what is going to happen by end of 2019! Employees will be shifted to to TFS, and anyone that gets bumped from TFS to Appendix F will be pay frozen. In your area add the number of construction guys plus TFS, if your IEFS crew is smaller than that number all the Prem techs will be gone in that area. TFS and construction will be doing it all including Directv.
