Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Portfolio

Randall said: "This is the first of many experiences across the AT&T portfolio,” he said. “It’s important for us to look at what the use cases for these experiences will look like and how they’ll evolve.” LOL

Key words, Portfolio, evolve, but innovation is missing? LOL

Lol. Disney+ is coming and it will be $6.99 a month, contain all of the Disney catalogue PLUS Star Wars and Marvel. For Families, that is going to be tough to beat! Plus- all of the content will be safe for kids to watch. Nothing above a PG13 rating. Sure you can put controls on Other services but they will not have the content Disney+ has. Att’s Streaming product cannot compete.

Question to Randy BaddAss plan:

Sooo…does this mean paying a subscription AND watching ads?

If so, I think this guy may be in for a dose of cold water when the subscription numbers start to come in. Plenty of great ad-free content on Netflix, Amazon and soon, Disney+ Hulu.

If he adds the hundreds of episodes of library product like Dallas and Knots Landing, I may have to subscribe. Can’t find these gems elsewhere.

Innovation... Not present. AT&T used to develop technologies that changed the world. Name one thing that AT&T has done in the last decade that changed anything, except increase the debt. Randy, please step down, go away, let someone with some technical skills take the helm.

With the billions spent, we could have built out an incredible fiber network, and let the content providers duke it out, while we collected checks for the delivery of that content. Yes, we would be "dumb pipes", but we would be absolutely necessary.

Naw, never mind, go try to find some more "Use case experiences" Maybe you will get a fourth chance at tragedy Randy.
