Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

What an embarrassment

That's an embarrassment and a problem, should be worried. The lack of appetite for cable-like streaming services should concern skinny bundle master AT&T, particularly as profits remain scarce and prices continue to rise. It does not take an economist to know that ever-increasing prices on services that customers already seem not to want is not a very good sign.

@Z4MWWsr-1wee Not true. American work week has been average 40-43 hours since the 1930's. In the 1900-1930 period it was closer to 50-55 hour work weeks. Before 1900 it was 60-70 hour work weeks. The middle class is not dead. The Rich are getting Richer but the rest are doing fine too. I seriously doubt you are working harder, since most work used to be more like factory or farming.

Not only that, Americans are working harder, longer hours. They don’t have as much free time as their parents or grandparents did. Welcome to the death of the middle class. Republicans help the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Remember that.
