Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

In what segments of the company are reorgs most likely to occur?

Shifts, changes, reorgs, layoffs… all of those seem to be an every day threat at HON? What parts of the company could be next in line for a reorganization? Maybe the reorgs could hit various parts of the company at once. Opinions???

@Z23jp0N-1dqv great advice, I was a T5 manager that initially had 15 reports, then through other non planned re-orgs I was directly managing 25 people! during the last Aero re-org, I had people re-aligned to my directory so he could keep his office, but i still had do to HPD reviews. I looked around and determined it was going to get better for me. So I found a better job and jumped ship, I'm sure they rejoiced at not haven to pay my MIP. I keep in touch with the old team, I think the poor F@CK'r that took my spot is about to have nervous break down, as in his prior TM role he only had six direct reports.

count the number of employees under a manager. if it is less than [arbitrary number here] then a reorg is not only possible it is extremely likely. The exact number probably changes daily. I would peg it greater than or equal to 11 today. If you are a T5 manager in aero then you should be looking for individual contributor work now. Find programs that look fun and hide.

Remove those AERO directors and VPs. Too many VPs and too many directors.

At this point, everything is possible. So we should no longer be surprised about it. Aero is top heavy, and not sustainable.
