If it's just a day's work for a day's pay until I can be thrown away, fine. In turn, that means I don't need to donate to the United Way, volunteer at company or charity events, try to do anything about vendor fraud, write to my Congress critter, be a service ambassador, file a patent, work unpaid overtime, show tools to coworkers, or even think about how to fix things outside the work week or outside the hours of 8 to 5. I don't need to recommend company products to friends and family. It would be nice if the company would quit asking us to do these things...

“no more using our service if competitors pricing is better.”
😂
IF?!? Our services are dirt cheap with our discounts you fool!
It is no longer a career. It is just a job. The company is cheap and does little for employees and time to return the favor. No more donations to Giving campaign, no more donations to PAC, no more volunteer work as a T employee, no more service ambassador, no more recommending service to friends and embarrassing yourself on how expensive we are at retail, no more using our service if competitors pricing is better. ......
Don't be captain save a hoe.. Do what you were hires to do, nothing more nothing less. I Never understood the people who would sacrificed family time, and personal health, just to look good, for a company that has shown time after time, that all we really are is a number. And unfortunately all us numbers have an expiration date. I personally work within my tittle, i don't get paid 5-6 different salaries so why would i try and do 5-6 different positions.
Those are all optional. I go in, do my 8 hours, go home. As long as I get my paycheck deposit every 2 weeks I keep showing up.
One of the best posts I’ve read. Do your job and enjoy your life. You owe AT&T nothing more than your 8-5.!
