Disney drove another nail into T’s coffin. By the time we come up with whatever BS that will be thrown together last minute will be too late and too expensive. Oh but we have Friends and the “vast” library of WB content that no one watches. Last season of GOT starts tonight..better hope it makes $180B. lol.

Some comments on how it will only appeal to families. So ask this...does AT&T appeal to younger generations without kids. That’s a no brainer.
Disney has way better marketing that T ever will. They target families, the ones us parents spend $$$$ on our kids. Have you ever been to Disneyland? Ticket prices are ridiculous but it is packed every day. That is T’s wet dream to have the masses standing in line, paying a months rent to get T’s services.
Problem with Disney is they are not targeting the normal viewer. They will have specific content aimed at that group of people who starve for that. Lots of us want more variety in what we watch. Network TV, Sports, Old movies, informational. Not just one companies's own content. They will suffer revenues, if they don't license their content to other distributers.
Disney is offering a lot more than just kids shows. Besides the nostalgia factor millenials will experience, they also own the Marvel universe as well as Star Wars, Pixar, and National Geographic. If you think this is just for kids, you're going to be going to be as blindsided as T come November.
For some reason supposedly big bad Disney has some panic-stricken employees on this page quivering in their Birkenstock's. Such hysteria!

Disney Plus is just a bunch of kids shows, no way it can compete with T. May score big with households with young children, but what adult is gonna want this service? I’m with T in this one.

That’s just a teaser price to get folks hooked then they’ll jack it up and people will keep it keep because by at that point the kids will zombies to it. 🧟♂️ As long as it’s reliable that is.
