McElfresh Headcount Drop

Back before the January surplus announcement I pegged El Jefe's management count at 97K and today it is at 93K

Did anyone get counts at a higher level such as Donovan?

You can look up El Jefe’s headcount in the search box in Amplify. It only shows Managers, no union or contractor headcounts. Webphone shows counts for all employee types.

I was expecting the reduction to be higher, around 10%.

it just started! there are 3 more rounds of 5%

YxpwZ4Y -

I believe that you are onto the answer that I have been searching for! Brilliant!

Employer contributions to all of these 401K accounts has got to be s---ing the finances out of this company. That has got to be one of the many reasons why I am on the surplus list.

401ks's were designed to supplement pensions not replace them. Kinda feel bad for young generation ..they are never going to retire.

Pension eligible person vs. enhanced 401K person. It’s a competition that only has one winner.

If they are expecting the young ones to pick up the slack and learn everything that the Sr. resources knew or have done for years, they put their eggs in the wrong basket.

Your right on that! But they won’t be around long as they jump after they have to work more than 40hrs a week.

it's cause they hired a bunch of young people after the surplus to hide the true numbers

That seems really low considering our business unit (not under McFresh) lost almost 25% between the January and March layoffs.
