Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

When is Marketing getting hit?!

First it was right after the holidays, then February, then March, and now we’re in April. And my group is hiring like crazy. WTF?

When will this nightmare be over?

I understand the agony of not knowing. That is why I took control, worked my a-- off on my skills, and found a new position. I will not sit and wait for company to pay me to leave unless it fits my situation.

Yeah, what’s the hold up? Are they hoping people will find new jobs and quit? Some have, but most are holding out for the packages - or just hoping the layoffs won’t affect them.

Wonder what a new CMO will think of the "holistic process"? I imagine that travesty is unique to WF

They will get a new CEO, who will bring in their own CMO. That CMO will evaluate and NO DOUBT reduce headcount. Seen this same scenario at other large corps so waiting for it to happen at WF.

No point of a RIFF at this moment

Layoffs in Marketing are not just a rumor. The group was told at the end of last year that they would be happening in 2019. Only the timing remains in question

A lot of us thought we would be paroled by now.
