Verizon has been encouraging employees on their work life balance.
In IT the most efficient and the correct way to achieve that is to quit. No one is paid enough to deal with ignorant third world boss who wants to run his team like a third world sweatshop.
Unfortunately since the third world boss’s boss loves the result the third world manager is producing none of this is going to improve.
Band together. Stand up for yourself, if not shut up and sit down as you deserve what is coming. The meek will not inherit the earth.
Quit crying about IT and India! Sell it off! Probably would still have to wade through all the crybaby posts on here to get to something worth reading.

I do not see this in the area I am in. That is not to say I never work OT. However, it is the exception, not the rule.
Offshore work life is worst..they are treated like slaves...I see many Chennai manager s accepts every thing. If you say dog as pig also they will accept..
