I haven't heard anything at the office, but on another thread on this board I see people claiming that the layoffs at the end of April are scheduled at ATO. In light of that I would like to know does someone know are other parts of the company going to be affected as well?

4/28 makes no sense - 4/28 is a Sunday. Calls have been on Monday .4/22 is a Monday and so is 4/29
I heard the date is now 4/28 for the calls/announcement and ATO impacted.....
They have alot of dead weight to get rid of in the mgmt spectrum.
RUMOR only, can’t confirm. Next big hit will be area managers.
There were AD's and Director's from ATO impacted by the surplus event ended 3/29.
I find it interesting that people that do the work are getting surplussed by I haven't seen, at least in my org, ATO, that any mgmt, Assoc Director and above getting the ax. Course they are mostly SBC/Cingular mgmt and it seems like they aren't on any radar for being surplussed.
I noted the headcount under Stevenson and McElfresh. 90% of people left in the 1Q were in ATO.
It is ATO's turn in April. Then June will belong to Global Ordering. Not sure about any other group.
What is ATO?

I am in ATO management and have heard there will surplus calls the third week of April. Right now I know of 2 separate ATO divisions where leadership is meeting this week on calls to go over a ‘Management Exercise’
Of course other parts of the company will be affected!!
It's not a stupid question. Why cant people just ask what's in thier minds? If it's such a stupid question then answer it with knowledge and common sense. id--t!
Lol. Another stupid question. Like anyone here would know.
Doubtful......I think April and September will be cross department.
Just trying to read the tea leaves.
The company is always reevaluating its workforce needs and makes adjustments as necessary in order to properly staff functions for the benefit of our customers and shareholders.

Just seems like it's ATO's "turn" again. That said I am ATO management and cannot confirm the 4/22 call for notification. Haven't heard anything.
