How much was OOKLA paid to say T has the fastest network? A few weeks ago another company said Verizon and T-Mobile were faster. I call shenanigans.

They actually have companies that go out and drive test the network on a monthly basis. They use an array of phones for all of the companies. These test are largely dependent on the state of the network on the day of the drive-test. Factors such as work on cell sites, cell traffic, coverage issues, all will be collected and shared with those who employed them to do the test. The big three have the best nationwide coverage footprint and switch positions on whose the best from city to city, state to state. The Marketing Team, then cherry picks the data to sell the product as the best in class or whatever they want to sell. All three of them can do it since they all cherry pick.
Our network ranges from decent to garbage where I live. Hate those commercials. Wish they'd spend some of that money on the network :)
just wait until Verizon spikes their numbers with tests from their locations that have 700-800Mbit 5G (using array of motoz phones). It'll make our 40Mbit 5GE look like a joke. Or TMobile uses their array of phones to do tests against AT&T servers (from known bad connections), and force out numbers to look bad. There are so many ways to game these numbers from both sides. Our execs really shouldn't tout anything until we've been the clear winner for some time. posting a press release and tooting our own horn after 1 month will just end up making us look stupid. these numbers go back and forth all the time.

If you don’t know exactly what you will talk about, then please don’t make silly posts. Actual tests were done and the results are real. On the other hand, t-mobile have their own army of testing “bots” trying to position itself ahead of everybody else, especially T. In other words, they a cheating the tests. All in all, maketing gimmick.
OP, obviously you do not work for AT&T. You would know that there is an internal website updating the data from OOkla everyday for the past year with all of the historical data for the past three years. You are either a clueless employee or a T-Mo troll.....go away troll....shoo.
