Anyone else see the video of the invite of grade school kids to the foundry for "innovation"? The kids probably got nothing for their suggestions and AT&T will probably steal anything that might come out of it. And they won't even have to lay them off afterwards.

One method to reduce debt is to reduce labor costs. We have known for centuries that child labor costs a business less than adult labor.
I think what we are seeing is our first tentative foray into a labor cost reduction model. It can work as long as we keep them hidden somewhere.
No one needs to know, as after all, this company excels at lying in public - shouldn't be too hard to lie about child workers - we can just call them "age-challenged" and come across as being diverse.

yep probably right. they will file a patent and do nothing with the technology and if anybody tries to do the work they will sue. att loves software patents. att is where innovation goes to die.
