You know you want to... go ahead and post your snarky observations from the townhall...

One of Lazzaro's AVP told me they are strongly looking at outsourcing a lot to reduce costs and her boss Summers is big on outsourcing work where possible to reduce expense
People have some bad imagination on here. At least make up a story that sounds plausible.
Same day, same regurgitated c-ap.
Who actually uses those office supplies anymore? Other than meetings with the Union, in which I take notes, one pad of paper will last a couple of months minimum. I see folks who will take notes of a town hall from their desks. For what?
Our store only has had only one working bathroom for 6 months but that is just because our manager is lazy and won’t put a ticket in
Wow it isn’t that bad where we don’t have bathrooms or toilet paper but we have to provide our own office supplies. No pens, paper, folders, tape, staples, envelopes or anything! Things are really tight when it comes to expenses!
The problem is we just do not have the money for repairs right now. Our bathrooms are working but we have to bring our own toilet paper. We each just bring one roll a month and that seems to be fine. My manager brings a few extra. We get a laugh out of it. Retail has it good compared to us!
Yeah we are told we have to use bathrooms on the way to work that that is a fringe benefit that is not required. Like W T F ?
Some us just don’t know how to “Lean in”.
Water coolers. Really? People are losing their jobs and this is something to b--ch about.
They took the water away a while ago for us. I bought my own water cooler and brought it in, everyone chips in a buck or two now and then for bottled spring water, which I get for like 7 bucks a pop. They haven't taken away the bathroom yet, but when they do I will just p--p in a bucket. I can outlast them, I am a military veteran used to getting by with the bare minimum of creature comforts.
“Good thing since the water got turned off last Friday for non-payment so you can't use the bathroom anyway”
Yeah they literally came and took our water cooler away as another genius cost cutting measure and told us the tap water is filtered. Manager actually said better the water cooler than a tech. True except we’re still losing techs. Someone should write a sitcom or produce a reality show at At&t. It’d be a hit.
As a lowly Prem Tech, I am jealous of you folks who get to have Town Halls, and Video Chats - bet you even get doughnuts and coffee don't ya? You get the motivational phrases, the uplifting threats, the newest corporate buzzwords - I know half of you are playing BS Bingo while they talk.
All we get is some hungover rumpled Supervisor standing in the middle of an unheated and unlit warehouse telling us we have to start surrounding our trucks with THREE safety cones instead of TWO or we will get "written up".
No doughnuts.
No coffee.
No cool buzzwords.
Good thing since the water got turned off last Friday for non-payment so you can't use the bathroom anyway.
I no longer report up to Shelly. Does she still say "You know..." in every sentence? She'd always make our ears bleed the way she spoke. Definitely s/be at the top of the outsource and offshoring list.
You can always take unpaid days off so you dont have toncharge to sustaining.
Gotta love all these "leaders" who only know how to regurgitate the latest buzzwords from above. Not one of them knows how to actually lead.
Learned in the Lazzaro Straight Talk Town Hall today that they are hiring new AT&T employees...in India. And we should all be excited about working in these lean times and just dig in and come up with new ideas to work better in this leaner environment. We’ve been told the same thing, don’t charge to sustaining...but there is no work. I’d love to have something to actually work on. So much transformation going on but only a few are actually involved. Thanks for the Straight Talk.
