DTV NOW’s new packages drop channels including A&E, AMC, Animal Planet, BBC America, BET, CMT, Comedy Central, Discovery, HGTV, History, MTV, Nickelodeon, TLC, VH1.

Adds hbo/cinemax

New customer prices raised to $50-70 per month—$70 if you want espn. Grandfathered customers getting a $10 increase.

Will be interesting to see how many continue beyond the free month trial.

I will be a cord cutter soon but if DTV NOW is dropping things like HGTV, not a package I would buy.

Having the culled channels is what set DTV Now apart from the competition (we had them all). With the exception of Viacom garbage, the removal of the other channel groups was likely a big mistake. Everybody I've talked to feels DTV Now is no longer a good deal and have no intention of subscribing. They will go to one of the competitors if they decide to cut the cord.
