I want to let our customers know that text messages work a billion times faster on our fake 5g than our competitors' advanced 4g. So your urgent texts such as "LOL" or "OMG" get to the recipient so much fast so that you can get a faster reply of "OK"

Im what happened to actually investing in the plant required to bring true 5G to market. T-Mobile's Leger comes to mind here. Might also help prevent that swirling circle when watching DTV Now.
Yes older phone will skewer results....cause they are NOT 5g
I think part of the issue is att has more phones capable of 5g and older phones at that, older phones will skew the resultz
It’s kind of T’s fault for misleading marketing. They did a good job at flipping the script, but the 5ge is actually the same advanced LTE network that the other carriers use. They just don’t call it 5g.
i find this somewhat humorous that AT&T attempted to discredit the test, however all the test were from random users not a defined test. It was real life what the customer experience was. Bring on 6G and Trump will be happy his tweets get out quicker.
Fake news. Comparing handsets to compare networks is the dumbest thing ever. They did not even use the areas that were certified for the Evolution for the study lol.

5GE is just Advanced LTE (256QAM, CA, MiMo) and of course it might test slower compared to our competitors. We did the same marketing with 3G to 4G.... just business

It’s just another clickbait article. They only showed results of similarly equipped phones but had no idea if the AT&T branded ones were connected to a “5G E” tower.
Every one of you fools who latched onto this “report” as truth deserve to be surplused for lack of basic reading comprehension.
That's because that's not real 5G, you can tell real 5G by how it quickly boils your intestines when close to the antenna.
Maybe jom and wsw will understand this one better.
