I am not a fan of AT&T, but my only surprise regarding this situation is that AT&T waited as long as they did to bail out of Connecticut. Ultra high taxes, billion dollar State budget deficits, a high cost of doing business, and an anti-business culture in the State legislature have caused many other companies to pack up and leave CT as well. Frankly, if I was impacted by this move I would count my blessings if offered a job down South with the move package AT&T is offering.
