Denied in Massachusetts (VSP)
@ikm - I turned down the VSP and was cut anyways. They still gave me the 3 weeks per year but I was laid off. Probably to avoid a lawsuit.
@YXkMljT-3skg shouldnt be any problem. The ESP letter clearly says the position has been eliminated
Has anyone who was offered infosys job but took ESP instead been approved for CA unemployment?
Ca was a no for me VZ denied the claim
It depends on the state. In some states only the ESP (non voluntary) would qualify. In others, both might. I believe VZ said it would contest the VSP, but I've heard others say they were approved, Nothing to lose by applying and appealing, if necessary.
@YXkMljT-jfv The offer for rebadged Infosys was different.
My research shows VSP'ers should qualify.
Same here. Then had to have an eligibility hearing. Then they said I wasn't eligible. Now I'm appealing.
I was VSP. Curious how you got 3 weeks if you never put your name in?
Not a VSP, but got the 3 weeks per year and filed for unemployement right away and was given it.
