The maximum views on this site for any post is 2,500. There are 255,000 AT&T employees, so does that mean 252,500 either don't know thelayoff exists, or if aware, care less?. Could it be the vast majority are satisfied with the status quo?

It’s because a lot of the people laid off recently couldn’t wait to leave and aren’t looking back in the rear view mirror. They’ve been freed from working with the arrogant s--- up club of circle jerks.

Reporting from Kansas. No word yet of any surplus in the Wichita area. But then again, management are told not to tell anyone of a surplus. I get on this site to see if any info is leaked. And for the entertainment.
I'm a Systems Technician and we don't hear much information on surplus stats for Prem Techs/Wire line Techs in this area. I/R and Cable repair Techs have not been impacted at this time either.

No one buys T stock because of the amazing upward movement of its stock. ( It has increased in value by ~20% in TEN YEARS. Compare this with the overall 400% increase of the Nasdaq over the same period of time )
Folks buy T stock because of the dividend ( which currently sits just shy of 7% )

@gyt - yep you got it just about right. att is so full of waste. there are companies that do so much more with about a third of the people. they just pass the costs onto the customer and that is why I dumped all their services and recommend them to no one.
What are you doing here then? @YXgaoms-gyt or I should say Mr. 1%...
A more important question to ask is who here works in a group that has not been impacted within the last year or does not know anyone who was undeserving of being cut.

Most of people who are not threatened by the layoffs are busy doing what they paid for.
Most of people on the layoff lists are TFS, IEFS, retail, call centers techs managers and techs...maybe some IT...
Now it makes me smile that people who say only losers are on this page, how did you know that, why did you open this page...this is what pisses me off, being laid off and id--ts still have a paycheck
this place attracts 2 types: one looks for legit info that doesn't exist here and one trolls c-ap fake info.
They are probably just busy at work reading actual entertaining websites, or watching p--n. There's always 1% who are too dumb and wind up here. Whether they are satisfied with the p--n or not, you'd have to ask them.
