On Thursday, lawyers filed lawsuits against four of the country’s major telecommunications companies for their role in various location data scandals uncovered by Motherboard, Senator Ron Wyden, and The New York Times. Bloomberg Law was first to report the lawsuits.

Expect an out of court settlement admitting no wrong doing where the lawyers will cash in. The company will promptly make employees and customers pay for it via more layoffs, bonus reductions, lower raises, and higher prices for customers. So go ahead laugh and cheer.
