Sorry for managers and techs. We came and settled where we are with most of us dedicated to making the company successful and thankful to have a job. Terrible

Union employees who get laid off are covered under their contract agreement...management gets the 60 days under federal/state law.

CWA Local 9509 has been notified that at&t is laying off several members across the local as well as state. The Local is still currently negotiating with the company to decrease numbers and the process they intend to use. We will be sharing information as soon it's received. Stewards and officers will be at all San Diego Premis Technician yards tomorrow morning.
A lot of speculation here, by the way santee doesn’t have a Director.

Yup, no fake news here buddy. 101 San Diego techs gone by 5/23. You know what follows next right? 1 AM and 7 level ones are gone too. I suspect that’s the case all over the West. What did we expect with all of these companies like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon etc .. if you work on the field your days are numbered.
