Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

ENPS

Fill it out... they track it. Just tell them how amazing this place is. This is yet another metric they use. Be smart folks! :-). You are a happy employee. You LOVE working here. :-)

I always do the survey. Out of respect for my first line. Good guy. Then I let it rip. Respectful. Truthful Honest. Professional. It does not matter. I have harped for YEARS on how MSOC drives bad behavior. Provided real world examples.Unfortunately the overpaid wh--es in upper management only want to see an Excel spreadsheet that validates all is well. Fools. Your subs are providing you with exactly what you want. You stupid f---ers have NO IDEA what is actually going on.

Repost from a previous thread...

You are to have the expectation of ZERO privacy on anything you do on AT&T owned equipment. This is reinforced every time I read the “integrity bulletin” from asset protection and reiterated in numerous HR policies. In light of those facts, executive leadership is, WITHOUT A DOUBT, talking out of both sides of their mouth whenever confidentiality is promised. I do believe that the information gained from the survey is used by supervisors and level 3 and above, just not in the way they say it’s being used. Also I have been told by 2 of 3 of my previous Directors (ironically all of whom were surplus casualties in the last 3 years) that information from the employee survey is not shared equitably among organizations. As I am level 2 I have no access to any data from the survey except what my Director tells me and what gets shared by the mother ship in Dallas.

In short, once you’ve given your opinion they can pretty much do whatever they want with it, it then becomes THEIR story and they will tell it any way they want.

They always produce positive numbers with that. I did it multiple times while still employed, never was on the promoter side on place to work. However when 3rd line would report results, they always looked positive. I know I wasn't the only detracter.

The best thing to do is not fill it out.

But if you really get a kick out of telling them how you feel........Tell them exactly that. Just stay away from the profane language. You don't need to cuss every other word.

"Would you recommend AT&T products"? Answer: No way. You're not worth it. I'm here for the paycheck. Verizon is a lot cheaper.

I would love to be a fly on the wall when they read these comments. It would be fun to watch the expressions on their faces.

@xnm "Put in a fake UID"....it's authenticated via Global log on. Not really possible. Unless you knew someone else's info and wanted to risk a COBC violation using it.

Fill the dang thing out. I'm telling you it does bring a great sense of satisfaction answering that "would you recommend AT&T as a great place to work to your friends and family?" question. In an articulate and professional manner of course. Does it matter? Not a hoot. But they do get read all the way up, contrary to what a lot of folks here think. As mentioned on here before, if you wanted to really stick it to an L2 or 3, the most effective way would be a complete boycott. Participation numbers are highly scrutinized and poor percentage in that area reflects quite negatively on them. Hence the emails from your Director and VP over the last couple of weeks strongly urging your thoughtful participation.

Put in a fake UID. You don't have to put in your real ID. They will never know.

The best thing to do is don't fill out the ENPS. It means nothing for the employee and all it does is create paranoia.

Tell the truth but try to make positive constructive criticism if you can, otherwise don't expose yourself just to feel good for a minute.
