Big meeting next week. Anyone know what’s going on?

If we lost 48oz, that would affect production more than sales reps I think. Most chains don't even carry them anymore, at least in the midatlantic.
I wrote a few orders today and called it a day. If I dont hear something credible over the weekend im taking Monday off.
Good luck with that. It’s nestle we are talking about
It's true that 48oz are getting harder to find in the markets, but I wouldn't say they've given up on it, considering the 5 DC Superhero flavors and Toy Story flavors, and those licenses were definitely not cheap.
Dairy farmer contracts are up for renewal soon if i remember correct...
Its just not in the cards to keep making the ice cream and giving it away unless its Haagan Daz . Pizza and HD at 4.5% straight commission and we’d be wealthy people ....
No but dropping 48oz would still require a loss in employees. And one of that magnitude would justify a nation wide meeting.
There wouldn’t be all this secrecy and a nationwide shutdown of the business to let us know they were dropping 48oz. We all know Nestle already gave up on that business a long time ago.
Dreyers is the category that's dragging us down. Would jot be surprised if they are telling us they are dumping it one way or another. I don't believe we will be going wh and I don't believe we are being sold off to another dsd company. But I could see Nestle dropping Dreyers /edys just like they did with crunch and butterfinger.
Settle down kids, no point in bickering amongst each other.
Kraft wanted Cadbury in Europe ... the pizza was the only thing they could sell off that anybody wanted to get the cash for that ....
If the Kraft pizza model was so great how did that workout for you ?
Regardless of the valid point, still sh--ty to leave us worried for a weekend. And still could leave us without jobs. Large corporations are a joke when they say they care about their employees.
Pizza guys knew from the beginning that pizza was/is the cash cow .... we had the model and the market when it was Kraft....
Nestle and all the Ice Cream lovers didnt believe it 8 years ago ...... how about now?
That’s an excellent point.
All. Just keep in mind the scale and amount of money Nestle has at its disposal. Writing checks for 500 million dollars is a drop in the bucket for a global company such as Nestle. So, don't look at the investment they have made as a reason to prevent a sale or a change in operations. Sales were flat in 2018 for the frozen food portfolio at Nestle. There are activisit investors pushing for Nestle to move on from businesses that arent growing revenue and profits. If they can't sell it. ( no one wants the packaged ice cream business) then they need to change the way they go to market.
Well S--- me Beautiful!
I’m sure no matter what happens we’ll still be working after Tuesday. It’s how long after that day is the question.
My boss did say loads were going out Wednesday...so there's that.
This is crazy and scary.
EFFF YOU NESTLE!
Some of us don't even have a meeting. We just have a conference call. Is this like being broken up with via text message?
Everybody work those extra hours and get that OT today. Tomorrow is uncertain.
theres a meeting scheduled for tuesday but i'm off next week, i'm going to thailand for a week. but now it sounds like i will be out of work when i get back, i like the hot pockets idea.
Hope they aren’t dumb enough to put a whole lot of p-ss-d off employees in one room when they fire us......lol.

Rumors are flying fast here in Sacramento. So sad and so much anxiety. They should have handled this better and could have been much more transparent.
People will get stress out this weekend and it was not necessary if proper communication took place.
Oh, well...
We were told to write our Wednesday orders by Sunday 5PM, so East Coast is working on Wednesday.
i cant belive its hot pockets we just rerouted lost a man and now would have to add a truck or two not excited about hot pockets at 1percent commission why would we take a sales day to tell us and pay for hotels and mileage
You can see other threads for Nestle here: &nestle

Apparently we are shutting down for Tuesday and Wednesday
Shoutout to SoCal south. I don’t know about you but I’m drinking tonight.
Why would we shut down for a day to announce we are doing hot pockets?
If you are going to mention information you found on another thread or another website, it's not that difficult to provide the link so all of us can check it out. Some of you are being as cryptic as Nestle is.
It's Hot Pockets guys, Hot Pockets... We're going to start doing Hot Pockets on DSD... Don't get so worked up....
The meeting is only one hour , we are being told to go home after the meeting. If we were keeping our jobs it wouldn't make sense to go home afterwards and not back to work. Especially on the West Coast since it will be 830am.
Meeting is at 730am on the West coast. 1030 East coast. Apparently there want us all to find out at the same time.
One of my coworkers actually said it could be a surprise rally..🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣😄
The meeting on Tuesday is only scheduled to be 1 hour
Was told not to clock in on Tuesday for meeting .....
ASLs know what’s happening, probably all of them have obviously signed a NDA.
