If you clearly hear he gave a hint saying if you learn the courses it will be useful in your next company also..he didn't answer to many questions related to rebadging or another VSP.

The plan was always to outsource more of IT. It was dialed back temporarily due to security concerns. As soon as that gets sorted out much more will be going.
@YJnYJFL-9pbk - I am almost 50 years old with 20 plus at VZ. How about you??
What good can crying do after the parakeet has already had his fill of the poppy field?
In the 21st century, no one should be expect to work for the same company from 'cradle to grave'. Everyone should be asking themselves how their current job will lead them to the next job.
@YJnYJFL-9piu: goodluck brat!!!!!!!!!!!!
how old are you????
I will ensure you will not get hired at Infosys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@YJnYJFL-9pxl: what is Vivek's contribution???
you could very well be correct!!!!!
@YJnYJFL-9piu: explain how/why to your statement regarding the lawsuit?????????
or is it just rhetoric on your behalf............
rebadging was done prior to the jobs transitioned to IBM !!!!!!!!!!
You are correct. But as bad as shankar is , and is a ego mess, he is lead down this path by his buddy Vivek.
When will this be fixed
What do you mean...why didn't you rebadge? I did not rebadge because Shankar was handing out free ESP money for not rebadging. Shankar's mistake is my gain. I take cash first and ask questions later. But if Shankar is forced to hire me back after paying me 60 weeks of severance, plus bonus and 8 weeks of vacation for the same job i was doing...i think that is a Quarter million dollar mistake Shankar did just for me. There are hundreds other who decided the same way i did.
They thought that they could get away with selling employees to infy for profits but for the fear of lawsuits the corporation is forced to hand out VSP like ESP deal to rebadged folks too. Those mistakes does not happen at every company and when you get lucky with dumb leadership like the ones at verizon you need to cash that opportunity.
They pay themselves millions in bonuses each year for nothing and this is what we get once in the lifetime. Now i would love to work for them on contract for twice the salary i was making with them.
simply ask your assigned HR Business Partner or assigned HR Business Manager.
is your VZ manager or sr. manager, rebadged, and going to Infosys.
and then let us know what you learn.
the esp terms and conditions states you cannot work at Infosys for six months. at Infosys, a job is a job, at half the salary. you need to discern the reality if Infosys hires you which most probably they will not as a former VZ employee before six months.
I do know the process. but the best of luck to you.
@8pma to each his own
@YJnYJFL-8bhk A job is a job. You need to know what the ESP contract says. Doesnt mean you are going for a job at VZ
are you desperate??
why did you not rebadge??
prudent ESP greed??
rebadged/esp, why do you want to have any future dealing with VZ????
7cgy..actually you can join Infosys immediately after you leave VZ...you just can't work on the VZ contract. I have been offered such a gig....we will pay you for 6 months to work on other stuff and then have you back working on VZ at the end of 6 months.
@7cqy no not joining just looking at esp papers and didn't see it. The whole purpose in taking esp is avoiding Infosys
@7iyi not for 6 months. You must be desperate.
Slightly off topic
Can ESP employees join Infosys immediately if they are offered employment? I thought there was some time limit when they couldnt, but cant find that anywhere
@YJnYJFL-6obl: how do you define good people???????????
everybody is good but the former GTE employees and now VZ corporate executive are ruthless.
and did you get the boot at VZ - if not then your comments have less merit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@YJnYJFL-6obl: were you an IT professional at GTE????????????????????????
are you still employed at VZ?????????????
do you continue as a VZ IT professional???????????????

My experience with the GTE people was all good. Let's not paint everyone with the same brush.
serious but more than serious, did GTE employ any women?
cute (5 GHHHHHEEEEEEEE). let us get back to serious talk.
GHHHHHEEEEEEEE, no GTE. no 5G.............
dumb GTE leaders at the time..............
what is GTE................
did Infosys get any GTE talent??
Infosys culture is no better. There is no culture but everyone just running around with their intellect missing.
How many CIOs does VZ currently employee? or Co-CIOs VZ employees???
a new Co-CIO everyday.
GTE, that makes sense. what a history and explains the culture.
THANK YOU for the GTE background.
@YJnYJFL-3fui: Shankar is a lucky a-- foreigners. formerly GTE employee check their resume at LinkedIn. The GTE amalgamation was the worst corporate decision completed by the former Bell Atlantic. The GTE folks within IT, all foreigners, Asian-Indians and Persians, alpha-males, screwed all of the Bell Atlantic IT employees.
Shankar was formerly GTE as are many of the remaining VZ IT Executives. Soon departing is another former GTE Persian Mahmoud El Assir rumored to go to Citi at the end of this month = today!!!
SA and VG are just cheap labors working hard doing all the dirty works to make their owners happy. They have been working hard since they came to this country in H1b Visa about 24 years ago.
They got employed through various Infosys like companies before they finally were able to convince a dumb corporate manager to hire them. But then there was the Y2K crisis too. Dumb Americans chiefs thought everyone from India were the only IT talents and just tried to Retain/Hire with bigger titles and promotions.
In todays world it would be much tougher for the kinds to SA and VG to get to the position they have this fast. They are not Pichhais and Nadellas of India but just got luck with Y2k crisis and Dumb VZ leaders at the time.
Wow shankar and Pete , Lot to visualize even on a Friday 😝
Shankar and Vivek listen to us, your employees and respectfully resign. There is no need for harsh words. Everyone has simply lost respect and trust.
Please leave
Thank you
@YJnYJFL-2acr Yes of course VZ doesn't care otherwise they wouldn't have rebadged. I refused the rebadge because I was not happy with my groups management I did not want to work for the same group in Infosys.
Knowing that Infosys is not a long term career I wanted to make a move now rather than 2 years later
I hope things work out for the best for you.
“I would not believe anything in writing from an overseas and foreign source.“ @2voo
Sorry, but I believe that he truly might hold the following view of unionizing that was attributed to him in the article. I wonder why that would be?
“Asked about some reports on efforts to prop up a union in the IT industry, he said he firmly believes that employees in the sector are "well paid, very well taken care off, (and) they already have choices (to change jobs)."
"For me, forming a union (in the IT industry) is a bad idea. Union may make sense when you are working in a factory. This (IT industry) is not that, people have choices, (they are) very well paid," the former president of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) said.“
appreciate your curiosity? curiosity is refreshing?
acrimoniously refrain from granular details.
surmising nothing to brag about as accomplishments for the past four months.
this includes 29+ rebadged employees whereby Infosys receiving payments with +10% VZ surcharge.
validate with your Infosys subordinates as they should be very knowledge as apprised??
clearly VZ does not care what happened to the VZ rebadged.
therefore you must work with or for Infosys, Pete or Annad??
denied, all Infosys employees want to be moved to other accounts, no longer VZ account.
real risks, being RIFed by Infosys at the end of 2019 for work being moved offshore.
Let me know how we can meet to further discuss??
@YJnYJFL-2vpd Just curious nothing else, but I still am not clear what problems you have at Infosys
