sure they manage eps. BUT the business is dying, and now the debt will become randy's undoing

I know of 10 people personally across the company who were downsized in the past 6 months and many others I am aware of but not personal friends. I really don't know why folks are saying it is hype?....Employees are concerned as they see friends and colleagues being downsized and those I know who were targeted were solid performers.....
The way they polish the numbers it is hard to make sense of what is put out. They mentioned that with the deployment of First Net they are increasing their sales channels in the rural areas. What does that mean from a force perspective especially in our footprint? Obviously not a huge impact but every slot is important.
Do your numbers include TW employees?
You believe that number from Q1 '19? You think they tallied headcount on the last day of the quarter? Stop with the schiitposting.
Well, the numbers applicable to layoffs were:
End of 1st quarter Mar 31, 2019: 262,290
End of 1st quarter Dec 31, 2018: 268,220
Total reduction: 5930
Those reductions can be all causes, layoffs, resignations, retirements, firings, etc. They could have been offset by hiring. But one thing is quite clear - the sky is falling type of noise we're hearing on this board simply isn't happening. It is a parallel reality spun by people with an ax to grind.
