Was hoping to view this site in order to pick up on professional tips regarding surplus information and legitimate leaks regarding reduction announcements.

I find the rumor mill is pretty spot on....naturally not 100% but I have found out quite a bit on these boards one just has to weed out the Bull...….
but there has been no reduction announcements lately, so what are you posting to find out? you sound like you're disappointed there are not people being laid off. there can't be legitimate leaks if there is nothing to leak. you are the one trying to spread paranoia.
moo-Just make sure you close out of your last job correctly. Will you wait until you actually order your food to close or will you do the drop your vehicle off and catch a ride with another tech maneuver?
Agreed! I enjoy getting the layoff info. I think the legitimate rumor Mill is a good idea also(not just clickbait c-ap being posted to get a rise and start false panic), and I believe it's good to hear how others are doing things in other parts of the country. I have no desire to read song lyrics or hear about bowel movements...childish and immature. As Ron Burgundy would say stay classy!
The leaks were for craft people in the 2nd, 3rd & 4th quarter. Third quarter is going to be construction and 4th quarter will have more prem techs on the surplus list.
Director level and above typically sign contractual agreements. I would assume their are confidentiality stipulations included. Pretty good size paychecks to be lost if they run their mouth to the wrong people.
Most of the posts are just stupid questions nobody but upper manager knows the answers to and they’re not talking.
Too many whiny negative posts by entitled employees who haven’t yet realized T is providing them money to live on for services rendered. Once your service is no longer required they end the relationship. That’s how it works everywhere.
C’mon people. Rude replies are not called for here. I think the OP was simply saying they use this site to find out info on layoffs happening. That’s what I do. During the last round I didn’t know anything about the layoffs until mid afternoon on 1/28 when a friend who was notified called me. There are a lot of rumors out there and I for one was checking this site today because of the 4/22 rumor to see if anyone had posted about being tapped to go. Lord knows our bosses don’t tell us anything so this site is one way we might find out
