I am hearing May 6th or 7th as the date (I can't remember which)... which makes absolutely no sense so take it with a grain of salt.
@2aji - in order to make dirt up on you and rank you lower for the next layoff
Why would they need mid year reviews to lay you off?
They can't afford an offer like Verizon. Almost half the company's cash flow is spent on dividend payments, and our stock hasn't risen like Verizon's. Better option would be to sell land-line to Frontier like Verizon, and let the land-line employees fen for themselves.
If they start pushing mid year reviews in June it might be a clue
There is no surplus this month, maybe june, maybe not, if you are that unhappy just leave!
Hope it's April 29th so they can rate me low and let me go....time to get the heck out of dodge. Seems to me if they wanted folks to leave, why not make an offer like Verzion and then stand back and watch the flood gates open as folks race for the doors. Sad really. Like the railroads, Eastern Airlines, TWA, National and Northwest, another great company going by the way side.
I heard that the date was 4/22 and or 4/29 then multiple people in multiple threads indicated the major ATO layoffs will be pushed out to June....Therefore, if nothing comes about on 4/29 then will brace for June.....
So would April 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th. And if we're just being paranoid, let's throw in the weekends as possibilities, too, so April 27th and 28th. Stay on your toes.
When exactly did anyone announce there would be layoffs in April?
Hey, changing the reason and the rules make it that much more stressful so why not?
Sure! Your guess is as good as anyone else’s on this board!
yes
