All the rumors are that tomorrow is the day sites like Frederick are announcing their closure.
Yet, there is a brand new Frederick job posting today.

I had an FTE at Wells swear up and down big layoffs were coming in January.
He's a prepper with a basement full of beans and bullets, so not a good source for anything reality related.
Time to stop being paranoid. I assume I'll be let go someday, I really do, so my options are wait for it or go.
Worrying about it, and worse, causing other people stress, is not helpful.

Now no one will believe you even if it is true in the future... sort of like those predicting the apocalypse. At some point, it's bound to be right... but don't try and take credit for predicting it.
What a bunch of Bs rumors spread by a bunch of total id--ts. Guess what when the Frederick site closes no one is going to know the date and it will come as a shock.
I feel like this is good news that nobody has posted anything yet this morning. When they do this stuff it's announced at 10:30am. This really c-aps in the hat of the guy who has been telling us that he knows for certain Frederick is on the chopping block effective April 18th as he'd seen it on presentations and such.
There is an REO Accounts Payable team in Frederick that has literally been doing damn near nothing for years that is still hanging on for dear life. It's unbelievable to everyone there how they weren't one of the first groups to get the axe. They had a meeting last Thursday where they were told of some new project/re-org taking place. Like cats, they have nine lives.
Good for them, good for everyone. Hope all the hub-bub is just that and the folks who are left get to keep their jobs as long as possible.
All the job postings for Frederick list “multiple” locations so not hiring 1 for that site is still an option. It gives the illusion of business as normal!! I was hired in closing and 1 month later they said they were letting people go so....
I work in the Frederick site and a lot of us have been hearing tomm is the day. We shall see....
