Yeah, my former area manager said I was the most qualified person in the shop for continued success with the att. Guess who was in first wave of layoffs? Yep, even having a Bachelors degree in business management and one of the top performing teams... Yet there are 1b managers who are high school dropouts continuing to receive a paycheck!! This shows the intelligence level of upper managment. Enjoy your cruise on the ATT Titanic. Trust them when they say its unsinkable.
don't believe one word that comes out of their mouths.
😂 you can take that to the bank.
@1lbn --"I was told by my VP last year in ATO that no one was going to be laid off".
I find it hard to believe that a VP in ATO would have said anything of the sort last year. I am not here to defend any VP; it just seems very clear that they all have the same standard, wishy- washy, responses when asked directly about surplus events in any forum. Something like, "we understand how difficult these are on the team and we urge that you stay focused..." and blah blah blah blah blah. They also always make it clear this it is not the last one. They will never be "over".
There is a rumor in this board said there are layoffs on 4/22. We will know who is lying.
I don't believe anyone at this point. Take your own cover.
Pretty brazen of him to lie about this so close to them dropping the hammer on a bunch of people. But, whatever, literally nothing matters anymore here.
Must be in sales or marketing. They are always heavy and don't stop.
@YCX you seem to be in the know when you say "There will be force reductions, may not be in the form of surplus. You'll know the answer and understand in less than a week." so why don't you share what the plan is that we will all understand in a week
They don't plan layoffs that far in advance.... usually 2 months or less, is all they need from the time the order comes down to reduce HC to pulling the trigger. Of course he hasn't heard of any layoffs at this point... he should add 'yet' to that statement.
There will be force reductions, may not be in the form of surplus. You'll know the answer and understand in less than a week.
Don’t believe the SVP! I was told by my VP last year in ATO that no one was going to be laid off, next thing I know 3 people in my group, including myself, we’re laid off. Doesn’t matter who told you, they are lying!!!! ATT revenue is down, they want all jobs possible sent overseas so all that’s left in the U.S. are the dead weight management.
That will change when AT&T releases Q1 results.....
Lol okie dokie
It would be nice if it’s true but it seems doubtful that this would be true.
Why wouldn’t you name the VP?
not so sure what Igal said is to be trusted. LOL
and you believe that? LOL
WHO said that?
Senior Vice President
What’s a SVP?
