NFL network and Redzone channel dropped from Uverse and DTV now. Apparently AT&T and the NFL are not negotiating to bring them back. How many subscribers will cancel? We all know Uverse is on the way out. DTV now has barely any subscribers. Also with it looking more and more likely NFL will opt out of Sunday ticket after this season we will be bleeding customers. Thoughts?

Screw the NFL! LFL and XFL rule!
The strategy is to save the customer money (cough) by not having to pay for sports packages they don't want or use. "Hey customer, we listened, we're saving you money!". Board room: Just bump the price up $10 next month, and we'll be netting $20 more per month per customer. Winner!
I wouldn't say it's a majority of DTV sales, but a good amount put up with the negatives because it has NFL network and redzone.

why would you not negotiate to keep nfl network and redzone? just what is the strategy or is there any stragety? is it a super secret streaming patented product that world will beg for and pay truckloads of money to att to use?
Sure doesn’t make sense dumping uverse tv now. It’s a superior product on fiber to the prem.
I know many people, in and out of the Company, who keep DTV specifically because of NFL network and Redzone. They will drop DTV in a New York Minute without those channels. Wonder what TV service will pick up NFL and Redzone?
All part of the uverse turndown later this year, and 11 vho shutdown in 2 years
T just needs to tap out.
