Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

“And we will STRIKE down upon thee with great vengeance”

Blame the company negotiators and lawyers for their hardline stance. Didn’t have to come to this.

“Heard that the old folks that used to negotiate contracts”

Hopefully the company will hire people with better English writing skills in the future.

Is there any market right now that is working without ANY contract (no extension and no new tentative deal) ? If that’s the case then could strike. If working under any type of contract (extension, tentative, ratified) no strike is in place. All CWA IBEW have it!!!

“no strike clause"

It’s not a blanket no strike clause. It’s only when there’s a tentative agreement. Quit spreading lies.

@1cco

Just stop pretending you know all the district contracts. You’re just sounding like an id--t.

No possibility of any strike at AT&T... All contracts contain the venomous pill "no strike clause" signed by your union. Sorry but not possible while valid... Tell the CWA / IBEW to get off the contracts and do it (just a little joke hehe)

CWA will never call a strike unless the Company approves it first

Heard that the old folks that used to negotiate contracts for years are gone and that a new strain is in place. Apparently they don’t know much about what they are dealing with and/or want to lick a-- because they are new and want to say they win over with the union.
