3frk... if you and your attitude is representative of our customer service staff, i understand and support Verizon's efforts to automate you out of a job. losing you and your kind can only be better for our customers.

Man you land line baby boomers sure are grouchy. I'd be grouchy too I guess if my face looked like melted wax. It's ok we'll be able to run what's left of Verizon after you tards are taking a 6 foot dirt nap. Also try some breath mints or something every old person I help at the store has breath that smells worse than death.
a kiosk and cpu cost a lot less than $83000/yr. they take up less real estate. they wear whatever you paint on them without b!tching. they don't require any survey sites to see if they're unhappy. you KNOW verizon is getting these on the street asap.
3zhd- $83,000.... i'm sure you can live reasonably comfortable on that. if you're frugal, your spouse may not have to work either.
i'd be careful with your assumptions, though. everyone can use this forum, not just retail and "Pole-huggers". in fact, this forum is supposed to be management only. the unionized/hourly staff only started using it during the 2016 strike.
Furthermore, you (and 2pix) should be careful throwing stones... regardless of weather or not vz sells wireline, the so-called "pole hugger" has a job that HAS to be done by a person (at least for now).... reps (both call center and physical store) are not too far from being automated out of work.
So, yes, you should stop complaining about your uniform. obey the directives of the company paying you $83,000 yearly. and, hope the gravy train lasts for a loooong time before technology stops it. also, you should probably prepare yourself so you're not in the lurch when it does stop.
