Don't you worry, every group will get put in the "trick bag" sooner or later. There's no safe place here anymore unless you are part of the leadership team. Being a great worker no longer required or rewarded.

Rob peter to pay paul. Going back 12yrs now any call to a repair center, the girl would give 2 weeks out date and offer to sell cell service. They did this to every landline repair call. All mgmt pushed them to do this. Then the paid off news media everywhere was fed info by the company “We are losing landline customers to cell phones”

Hard to keep the business growing-I agree with a lot the frustrated gentleman said but the financials don’t show this to be true in most of the older parts of the business. The FMLA game was a good point and a driver in some of the push to eliminate people. Quite a few folks get 3-4 weeks of vacation, 4-5 company holidays and that is not counting the game some folks are playing with attendance. Toss in the 6 weeks or so of disability. That is a third of the year the company gets no productivity. Not counting the OT folks have to work in some cases to make up for it. Can’t see why the company is not wanting to eliminate truck rolls and key strokes for the office personnel.

@zbj “Even though they have record churn and losing customers for years ” Go back through the financials. When you spout off stuff that is completely devoid of any fact, it makes you appear dim witted.

How many layoffs did IHX get any way?

mobilities a cash cow and the IHX guys will be the ones who get hammered, store's are always business as usual turning. they're coming out on repairs now trying to sell p-ss-d off customers cell phones. their sales expectations are going up and up. sad to see once happy techs who thought they were moving over and up just to get moved out. Or hearing about them begging to get back into stores if they came from retail. If your not bargained in this company I feel bad for you. the Unions a joke but for some reason we get sh-- on less than management.

Hard to keep the business growing and to stay motivated when you got the man ready to boot you in the a-- and out the door. Get rid of the guys playing the FML game. my crew has 1/3rd of the workforce out and I'm reading on here about constant surpluses. get their a--' off payroll, not someone who comes to work everyday to support a family and grow this business...

Stop sending IHX guys out to sell DTV Now service, I'm ready to put the next one out on my jobs out on his a-- in front of the customer. I'm installing or repairing DTV or Uverse and here comes a clown trying to get the customer to cancel service they are comfortable with with just to get sales credit. giving two sh--s about the revenue we lose when he talks them out of Legacy TV services. All these sales reps hurt the business, robbing peter to pay paul. They don't care about customer's experience, perception of the company, the services, they just want to chase the carrot and get the sale at any cost.

Make AT&T great again.

No. Even though they have record churn and losing customers for years they get nothing meanwhile techs who are the bedrock of the company get shafted!
