Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

How well are ESP folks training INFY people??

I think they picked up my replacement from the streets. I have 15 years of vz experience and Hans promised everyone that we would be replaced one to one with an equally experienced person.

Now they are looking at me to train this person infy picked up from the streets which does not seem to be my problem. If hans and infy thought i was replaceable and were not able to find my replaceable that is really not my problem. I am living with losing my job to INFY and VZ will have to live with not finding my replacement. I am not interested in training someone to take my job because that was not the deal Hans had promised us.

I think your INFY Training should be as professional, Short, one directional, and to the point as VG and SA delivered the surprise to you. You should offer the same level of code of ethics displayed by those guys.

@fnv. What does training Infosys replacements have to do with wireless? I am a WIRELINE IT person doing the same. You people that think we are two different companies need to get over yourselves. This thread has nothing to do with the battle between VZ union and VZW sales.

You should apply the same level of Code of Ethics VZ and VZ Management surprised you with when they decided to sell your position to INFY without any of your input. Be fair to VZ and treat them the same way they treated you. VZ what was in their interest and now its your turn to do whats in your interest.

If you think it was fair treat the fairness back.

The deal was for Knowledge Transfer.

Training and Mentoring was not in the deal.

We cannot repeat what happened at Disney here.

There are around 20% very good persons and others are meh. But I dont think we should be concerned about this after leaving
