This is our LAST MONDAY kids! I feel like I'm waiting for Santa. We're so short now we'd need a ladder to scratch an ant's backside. Best of luck to everyone leaving or staying!

Second the last post from Y51wKi5-3krs. The transition plan implemented was horrific. Successors were named too late to do a proper transfer of Knowledge. DTP's are not checked as thoroughly as they once were and lack a lot of vital information.

3/22 and STILL doing the work of 2 managers. They had a transition plan they had been talking about but in pure Verizon fashion won't be rolled out anytime soon, I have 30+ yrs busted my a-- every one of those years but they have not let up in my work load despite me being gone in s few days. The company doesn't give s sh-- about its employees and will use you up until the last minute before you leave, would love to be a fly on the wall a month after I am gone.

Looking ahead and not looking back

It is awesome to move on. No more dreading Monday morning, no more firedrills, no more unplanned late nights. Get ready to sleep soundly, smile often and spring is almost here

12/28 VSPer here. It is the best feeling in the world. I still speak with a few former co workers and they say it is miserable. Sales quotas are unattainable so people aren't making comp and being threatened with PIP which is their way to RIF people. So glad I'm no longer part of that. I work 10 hours a week doing deliveries and love it. No pressure or stress and a few bucks in my pocket. Anyone leaving......you'll love it starting on day 1. Good luck!

3/22 here, I'm very happy to deposit a huge gift at bank and start a new position right after leaving here. 20+ years of domain knowledge has been a burden on me, let Infosys keep it as Shankar visions this.

Another 3/22 here with mixed emotions. 28 years in.. held no other job but this one. The fear is palpable and the excitement invigorating. Best wishes everyone on the next wave - whatever that is for you.

Ready for the next adventure but it is very emotional to leave after 30 years. I will miss my colleagues the most and wish them well. Thanks VZ for all the education the company paid fo me, 401k match and pension. Benefits will be expensive but grateful to get the subsidy.

Good luck to all leaving 3/22 and congratulations on a job well done!!!

Mar 22 here.

Going to a wedding, less than a week after the release date. Woot!!

Planning to help my local community instead of spending my time on a company that provided me very well, but has become a waste of my skills, effort, and time.

Shame on you "leaders??". I can go on, but won't.

3/22 for me. So excited I can hardly stand it. My financial planner has already mapped out a plan for my old MCI Pension and Verizon 401K which along with my wife's full time job with full benefits means I won't have to work again..ever. I am however set to start on 4/1 at a mower/power equipment repair center as a service desk person part time (20-25hrs a week) just for something to do while my wife is at work. Checking in people for repairs and assisting with post repair pickups etc.. Sounds pretty stress free to me My Vz boss has offloaded all of my work and I have transferred all of my direct reports to others. He has advised me to just be "available by mobile phone if needed" for the rest of my time here. I have already rolled my mobile number to a new personal phone, which means I can't even get Vz email on it when I am away from my PC. My PC return box arrived this morning and just looking at it makes me smile. Life is good! Best of luck to those leaving and those staying!
