Reach out to your local office, they already know the amount of layoffs. All I can say is DTV Yard’s will be hit the hardest. Good luck to all. Don’t let CWA feed you lies.

"Good morning Gentlemen, our local CWA9400 has been notified by at&t there will be NO Prem Tech Surplus (layoffs) in this 2nd Q wave. Nobody in Los Angeles is being Surplused"
F--- att
San Diego’s installs wouldn’t be slow if all the damn techs would stop screwing with RSC’s sales. Everyone knows orders will get mixed up so no one tries too hard.
Just because it doesn’t happen this quarter doesn’t mean it won’t happen.
But, if the layoffs are viable now, I don't see with their debt load, the leeway in delaying. But, anything can happen. I kept a copy of that leaked document. We'll see if it happen in any quarter, with numbers approaching what was shown in the document.
There is the possibility that the information provided to the Union is incomplete, that it didn't encompass all business units. We'll see tomorrow.
It seems like for the last several quarters, that we've been treated to the "sky is falling" forecasts, only to see light layoffs. But a fake document would definitely put things in a new perspective.
The people in District 9 subject to layoff are likely under the Guaranteed Job offer deal. Between that, and people eligible for retirement that wouldn't mind a little extra money on the way out, actual layoffs could be well below the surplus numbers.
Anyone know about cwa district 3?
Just because it doesn’t happen this quarter doesn’t mean it won’t happen. They push it to 4th quarter ones the noise from the leak dies down and then lay offs just in time for Christmas. It’s a jolly T tradition.
Well, that CW9003 post indicates "there are no outside technicians (Premises Technicians, Splicers, Systems Technicians, etcetera) that are affected by this downsizing "
Meanwhile, there was that supposedly leaked document that said that in District 9, that there would be 475 prem techs surplussed. That's going to be real interesting if it turns out that leaked document was a hoax, designed to stir the pot.
Find out tomorrow.
We got a text from our local 9509 San Diego to inform us that they’re no layoffs.

A couple articles down and you’ll find the confirmation you guys are looking for
I would assume that if the union received layoff information in advance, it was conditioned on not releasing the information until tomorrow. That's the usual arrangement, and if the union doesn't abide, then that is the end of advance notifications.
We'll all know tomorrow.
The union came through. LOL! I spit my coffee out.
There are Prem Tech openings in CA and NV in the NTP postings so it’s safe to say there won’t be any Q2 surpluses in CWA-9.
I heard it’s all safe. The union came through and was able to convince the company to avoid all future surplus activity until at least 03-15-19.
San Diego is safe? How so since they are loaning out Techs to other areas 10 at a time. Those Jump Techs tell us SD work load is slooowww.
Heard bay area in California is safe like San Diego and san fran area, but LA hasnt been confirm yet and central valley hasnt been confirm too
Where are you located and how many people in your yard?
We’re gonna need more than just your word on this chief.
IBEW 21 knows nothing. When it happens tomorrow they will claim complete shock and surprise. And they will call for solidarity. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Blah, blah, blah. When it comes down to it, you are on your own. The socialist mentality and tired slogans of union membership can’t save your job.
I did, no layoffs for premtechs confirmed for this quarter.
Can you cite your info please
