For those management employees that were surplussed, how long did it take for them to remove the concessions and go back to paying retail pricing? Was it in the first month, two?

For wireless I find tmobile cheaper than T employee discount. Also, as an employee they can't check where I am and who I call
I was hit in October, by November my wireless concession was gone, and I went to T-Mobile. Directv was gone in December and they actually prorate the bill mid month. It was almost $200 a month. Dump them ASAP
My experience. I volunteered last year under the MVO and left in July.
My wireless concessions were addressed automatically within about 2-3 months.
My Uverse (TV, voice, and internet), took effect in February 2019, and only after I initiated a disconnect of a voice line........seems that nobody was watching my U-verse account.....go figure? Probably could have continued on the employee rate if I left it alone.
Mine was removed the first day of the next month without notice after I retired. I had to reapply for retiree concessions.
I am thinking about switching now. Lol. T uses your data for all sorts of nefarious purposes.
Honestly I bet this is one way they bust people on medical leave. You aren’t supposed to travel overnight- don’t think they aren’t checking the location of your private cell phone if your have service with T while you are on leave. They are gonna pull a “gotcha.” I’m surprised at how naive some people are... same thing for texting and using your personal phone during work hours....
@mwu is absolutely correct. I can't believe that you are concerned with your wireless discount, of all things. You can do significantly better elsewhere, with no discount. I'm still employed here and thinking of switching.
If surplused they are required by state law to let you keep your discount for 90 days.

In my area T 300MB regular is $70(paying 35now), spectrum is 44.99 for 400MB, for me no brainer to switch, shop around.
Depends on your service. Unless there are various MgMt concession plans there is no plan out there that matches what I was paying for my services, especially DTV. Took a little more than one billing cycle to flow through. Check and they can probably give you a exact date. (Should have done that myself) Gives you time to save a little money and get something lined up to replace if that is your decision.
I wouldn't worry about it and just change your service now. You will pay less than what you are getting with the management concessions and get better service.
