Executive pay is decided by a company chosen by the board and is usually a company approved by the executive.

Ever since Reagan, CEO's have been using their companies as their personal ATM machines.

It's rigged.

You know what really bugs me? Is Sloan, like Stumpf before him, has a deep, ego driven need to have his face on the company intranet every single freakin' day.

Most of my tools are web based, I cannot escape the id--ts lying, scamming face.

Whatever is published on Teamworks will be made to look as minimal as possible to make it appear he is treated like the rest of us. But no doubt there will be a ton of behind the scenes compensation that hopefully will be reported outside the WF "cone of secrecy". My favorite parts of last year was him justifying his huge raise because he took on more responsibility (and the paltry $12 mil he was making just couldn't cover it). Every da*n day, we are asked to do more with fewer and fewer resources and we get ZIPPO. My other favorite thing was the bank paying $80 grand+ to UPGRADE his home security system.

Waste of skin. He's getting exorbitant compensation, because he's a sitting duck.

Maybe people should begin to think about who they vote for politically because this good ole boy club is big, and they have worked hard to take care of themselves in the last 2 years. But you have to decide that for yourself. Do you enjoy that big corps are wallowing in profit made even larger by the 40% tax cuts while CEO's and senior exec's continue to rake in the doe while you get a token raise, and a bonus that you might believe is pretty good, but is it in the big scheme of things. WF 6 billion in profits quarter over quarter, 24 billion annually. Shareholders got a raise in dividends... So the wealthy keep getting wealthier, and the average guy gets balled, this all happens directly in plain site in front of your eyes, and with your consent. Then we all complain as though that will change anything. Dream on folks, one day we'll all figure this out..... well, maybe.

Last year he got what? 33%? Inflation is up, so I’ll go with 36. We can’t have him falling behind now, can we?
