At&t is for the first time ever forcing customers to move off of grandfathered unlimited choice and unlimited plus plans. I have never seen them force someone off of a grandfathered plan. I have seen them raise the price a couple of times from the original unlimited plan for $30 to $35 then to $40. They are telling customers they can get out of any contract or installment plan because of it, so they are anticipating customers to leave. These old grandfathered plans are $20 per line where as the new unlimited plans are are quite a bit more. People hate change, I don’t really understand the point of this, they would be way better off just to raise the price and let them keep the plan they have.

@zrq Maybe if you're no longer an employee... otherwise the discount is too good to switch to another carrier.
If I receive communication that my unlimited plus plan is being forcibly changed I am going to pay my balance off on my installment plan, unlock my phone, cancel my service, and go to T-Mobile. That is such b---s---.
AT&T is all about customer service until it starts to cost too much!
Gotta get out of debt. Might as well pass the cost onto the consumers. It's the american way.
