When will cash office associates jobs be eliminated? I heard they are getting rid of the smart system .
If nothing is posted on the AMP then it's a pilot at select clubs.
We've been like this for a year now. It's so much easier. Rough getting used to it in the beginning tracking errors down. But once you get the hang of it. So much easier
It’s funny because the knowledgeable ones they let go along time ago, the ones they have know don’t know their head from their a--. Let’s face it no more a-- setters while the rest of us running around like chickens with our heads cut off.
When my club got the cash recycler last year it was direction to make everything register accountable. If/when they upgrade the system to where the registers automatically communicate with the recycler (eliminating cash office's duties), it will need to be set that way.

I feel they are gearing more towards 3rd party on cash office. How this will work, who knows. 2 Walmarts in my city no longer have ANY cash office associates in their stores. It is done by Asst. Manager. I feel soon we are done as well.
This will be awesome no more jammed money by cashiers who can’t read about depositing the correct way.
It works ok at the desk. We've been register accountable forever.
If this is true it is such a bad idea. There are too many errors for this to ever be successful. More associates will get slips and let go for someone else's mistakes.
So basically universal tills like other departments? I looked on the WIRE and nothing is posted .
