Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Good luck to those staying

I finally made the decision and accepted a job that comes with more than 10 percent pay cut just to get away from this place. No amount of money is worth ruining my mental health for.

Those of you who are staying in this hellhole, I truly wish you all the best.

Hey Crotchety! You're the prime example of a useless employee taking up space at AT&T. Must feel awful knowing that throughout the day whatever you do is pointless and irrelevant.

@1zos

Naw, this crotchety old fart wants to get PAID TO LEAVE. I am biding my time until I get cut and milking the cow. Then I will take my payment to go away like a vindictive ex wife! My divorce from My 20+ year relationship with T will be bliss...

Everyone on this blog should follow your example.

Why couldn’t you find a job at the same pay or more? You will just become disgruntled when you start getting those smaller paychecks.

Congrats on your job. Companies that think they can pay good and treat you like sh-- are not worth it.

10% pay cut is not good, you should have stayed untill a job offer of equal pay was available. Outside jobs at AT&T also include overtime for those willing to work late and collect $55 per hour. If you can’t handle it then it’s time to leave.

Go forth and enjoy. I will be taking a sabbatical (aka unemplyment) before I try to jump back in. Peace out

Best decision you will ever made, in reality controlling emotions in the long term will destroy you, live long and lots of prosperity.

Good luck on your new career.

As for me, I will keep working, doing what I do and be glad that I am employed here, making good money. If I'm tapped I will move on. No guarantees on any career. Everyone needs to realize that and prepare if you haven't already.
