Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

From a retail stand point

From a retail stand point, how do we stop the bleeding and become successful? DirecTV requirements are causing wireless sales to go to other carriers. DTV is obviously not successful. The mass exodus is due to people that were required to get DTV a few years ago and now are not required to so the canel, legacy DTV customers who are no longer happy with the way the new company runs it and less than mediocre service. (i.e. Outages in storms) I see it as the only way to become successful is sell off DTV. What are your thoughts?

T need to increase revenue in all of business domains and introduce new promotions. To attract new customer, It’s better to have less margin than no margins. May be they can launch some discounted packages or Products in mobility and directv. It’s not a bad idea to change Cricket with att cricket name and that can be used to target low paying customers. Lot of people don’t know that cricket is also owned by att.

T would be lucky to get half of what they paid for DTV. T has a poor history in video, ala- cable.
